Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Fast OTT Ltd, trading as Vodlix ("we", "us"), uses cookies and similar technologies on vodlix.com, and the choices you have. Read it with our Privacy Policy (vodlix.com/privacy-policy), which explains how we handle the personal data these technologies collect.

This policy is ours. Cookie Panda, our own consent management platform, is the tool that shows our cookie banner and records your consent; the banner links to this policy.

1. What this covers

This policy covers cookies and similar technologies on vodlix.com and our marketing pages.

It does not cover a streaming service run by one of our customers. If you saw a cookie banner on a service powered by Vodlix, that service's operator decides what is set there. Their cookie notice applies.

2. What cookies are

Small files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies (localStorage, pixels and tags), and where we say "cookies" we mean all of them.

Cookies set on the domain of the website you are visiting are first-party cookies, even when a provider's script sets them. Cookies set on another domain, such as an advertising provider's, are third-party cookies. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.

We also store a few items in your browser's local storage: Cookie Panda keeps your choice and the vendor list it shows (__cookiepanda_subject, cookiepanda.gvl, cookiepanda.atp), Vertex keeps the page you arrived from and your first visit (vertex_aid, vertex_ft, vertex_hs, vertex_ld, lastExternalReferrer), and Google Ads keeps its click identifier (_gcl_ls).

This list is from a scan of vodlix.com on October 21, 2026. Durations are the longest we found.

4. Managing your choices

Use the cookie banner: it appears on your first visit and can be reopened at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Refusing is as easy as accepting. You do not need to change browser settings, and we do not treat browser settings, or continued browsing, as consent.

You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal stops future collection; it does not undo what was already collected, though you may ask us to delete that (see our Privacy Policy).

We manage this with Cookie Panda, our own consent platform, which records your choice and passes it to the services involved.

Browser controls. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; your browser's help pages explain how. This works alongside the banner, not instead of it. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site, such as sign-in, may not work, and the banner may not be able to remember your choice.

5. Advertising cookies: what they actually do

Because it is not obvious, and our Privacy Policy previously did not say:

When you consent to advertising cookies, we may record that you visited from an advertisement and store the associated click identifier. If you later become a customer, we send that identifier back to the advertising platform so it can attribute the sale to the advert.

It is how advertising measurement works, and it only happens with your consent. Withdraw consent to stop it.

5.1 Uploads from our servers, not your browser

Some of this measurement does not happen in your browser. When you inquire, or later become a customer, our own servers send the result directly to Google, Meta and OpenAI. An upload can contain the click identifier stored against your inquiry, the event (for example, that you signed up) and its value, and identifiers such as your email address in hashed form. Hashing replaces the identifier with a fixed code that the platform can match against its own records.

Because these uploads come from our servers, blocking cookies in your browser does not, on its own, stop them. We send them only if you consented to advertising cookies, and we stop when you withdraw that consent or opt out of sale or sharing.

6. Third parties

Consenting to analytics or advertising means those providers may set their own cookies and receive data including your IP address and pages viewed.

We publish the categories of provider in our Privacy Policy. Anyone may ask for the full named list at [email protected]; we answer within 5 business days, free.

7. How long they last

Each cookie's lifetime is in the table in section 3.1. In short: session cookies last until you close your browser, your consent choice lasts 12 months before we ask again, analytics cookies last up to 13 months, and advertising cookies up to 13 months.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes get a new effective date, and we ask for consent again where the change requires it.
