Run a Sports Streaming Platform With Matches and Live Sports
With the Sports template, fans browse Matches, Shows and Live Sports instead of Movies, TV Shows and Live TV. Categories become Sports and people become Athletes. Live TV and the programme guide stay switched on, so live coverage and replays sit side by side. It suits leagues, clubs and any sports streaming platform.
Run an Education Streaming Platform With Lectures and Courses
With the Educational template, students see Lectures, Courses and Live Classes in the menu. Courses are split into Modules and Lessons, taught by Instructors and grouped by Subject. It suits schools, universities and online course sellers building an education streaming platform. For staff training and onboarding, there is also a Training & Guides template.
Run a Podcast Streaming Platform With Episodes and Podcasts
With the Podcast template, listeners and viewers see Episodes, Podcasts and Live in the menu, and the people on your shows are Hosts. Your shows keep their own titles, artwork and descriptions; only the labels around them change. For a full podcast network, see video podcast platform.
Rename Movies and TV Shows to Match Your Content
A template renames your labels in one step, with nothing to rebuild. Here the same storefront reads Movies, TV Shows and Live TV with the default labels, and Matches, Shows and Live Sports with the Sports template. Each template renames nine labels, in singular and plural: movies, series, seasons, episodes, live channels, live TV, categories, artists and shorts. Your videos, artwork and colours stay the same, and your web addresses do not change.
Pick a Template When You Set Up Your Platform
The setup wizard asks what kind of streaming platform you run, then fills in the right words for you. It offers 21 platform types, including Education, Podcasts & Talk, Sports & Live Events and Sports Club / Team. Behind them sit 16 templates: Full OTT Platform, VOD Only, Podcast, Educational, Training & Guides, Sports, News, Church & Faith, Music, Corporate / Internal, Fitness & Wellness, Kids & Family, Travel & Lifestyle, Cooking & Food, Gaming and Custom. You can switch template later.
Change Any Label Yourself
You can rename any single label, and the rest of the template stays as it was. A football club can keep the Sports template but call its athletes players and its matches match replays. If no template fits, the Custom template lets you write all nine labels yourself. One thing to know: Full OTT Platform, Sports and News keep Live TV and the programme guide on. The other templates turn them off, and you can switch Live TV back on afterwards.
