OTT admin dashboard in light and dark mode: key numbers for new users, revenue and catalogue, engagement tiles compared with the previous period, uploads in trouble and recent notifications, beside a YOUR LOGO HERE tile

An OTT Admin Dashboard Your Whole Team Can Read at a Glance

The Vodlix OTT admin dashboard is the first screen your team sees after signing in. It shows new users and revenue for the last seven days, the size of your catalogue, and views, watch time, unique users and sessions compared with the period before. Below them sit a viewership chart, your top titles, uploads that need attention, recent notifications and one-click quick actions. The same admin can switch to dark mode, holds the cache controls and your business details, posts an announcement banner for viewers and opens support in one click. For money in detail, see the sales dashboard; for deeper analysis, see reports and analytics.

Launch Your Streaming Storefront With a Demo Catalogue From Day One

A new Vodlix platform does not open on an empty storefront. During setup, the onboarding wizard offers twelve demo catalogue templates, from Movies & Series to Podcasts and Music & Shorts, and loads the one you pick: categories, content lists, videos, series and live channels, with their artwork. Viewers and your team see a full home page on the web and on phones straight away, so you can test the look, the menus and the player before your own titles arrive. Everything the wizard adds is tagged as sample data, and when you are ready to go live, one action in Settings, under Demo / sample data, clears all of it. For testing, the Sample Data Generator can also add sample videos or TV shows, 20 at a time.

Show a Site-Wide Announcement Banner to Every Viewer

The Global Announcement integration posts one banner across your whole website. Your team writes the message in the admin, on the Edit Announcement screen, and updates it there whenever it changes. It is a quick way to tell every viewer about a new season, a live event or planned maintenance without editing a single page.

OTT admin dashboard KPIs: new users, revenue, catalogue and published titles, and views, watch time, unique users and sessions for the last 30 days, each compared with the previous period

OTT Admin Dashboard KPIs Compared With the Previous Period

The top of the dashboard answers the questions you ask every morning. Key numbers shows new users and revenue for the last seven days, each with a small trend chart, plus how many titles are in your catalogue and how many are published and playable. Engagement shows views, watch time, unique users and sessions for the last 7, 30 or 90 days, and every tile says how far it moved against the previous period of the same length, for example +8.2% vs previous period. You see whether the business is growing before you open a single report.

Track Viewership and Your Top Titles on the Dashboard

The Viewership chart plots impressions, views, finishes and watch time over the last 7, 30 or 90 days, by day, month or year, and you switch each line on or off to compare them. Below it, Top content lists your best titles for the same period with their views and watch time. When a number needs a closer look, Insights and Reporting take over with date ranges you choose: see reports and analytics.

Quick actions on the admin dashboard: upload video, upload episode, create series, add member, create content list, customize dashboard and add dashboard widget

Quick Actions and a Streaming Dashboard Layout You Can Customize

Quick actions put the jobs you do most a click away: upload a video or an episode, create a series, add a member or create a content list. Two more widgets keep work moving. Uploads in trouble lists uploads that failed or are still processing, and Recent notifications shows what just happened on the platform. Press Customize to drag widgets into a new order, resize or remove them, add new ones and switch layouts. A layout can be set as the default for everyone, so the whole team starts from the same view.

Light and Dark Mode for Your OTT Admin Panel

The admin panel comes in a light and a dark version. Anyone on your team switches with Dark Mode in the account menu at the top right, so the editor working late and the manager on a bright laptop each get the version they prefer. Your numbers, menus and settings stay the same in both.

Cache Manager in the admin, showing the connected status, the auto-publish option and partial publish buttons for videos, series, lists, categories, plugins, subscription config and settings

Refresh Your Streaming Site From the Cache Manager

Vodlix keeps your site fast by serving ready-made copies of pages, lists and settings, and with auto-publish on, your edits go live by themselves. When something you changed still looks old, the Cache menu in the bottom bar of the admin refreshes the site from any screen. The Cache Manager page gives more control. Refresh only videos, series, lists, categories, plugins, subscription settings or settings, clear everything at once, or queue a warmup that pre-loads popular lists and home page data, so the first visitors after a big change still get fast pages. Its header shows whether the caching service is connected.

Business Details, Search and Support in the Same Admin

Your business name, email and phone, VAT number, country and address live in Settings under Business Details, and they appear on your invoices. The search box at the top of the admin, also opened with ⌘K, finds your titles as you type, and the Add New button starts new content from anywhere. When you need help, the question-mark icon in the top bar opens Support, where you raise tickets with the Vodlix support team and follow each one from open to resolved. The content work itself happens in the backend CMS.

What is an OTT admin dashboard?
An OTT admin dashboard is the control screen of a streaming platform. In Vodlix it is the first screen after sign-in and shows new users, revenue, catalogue size, views, watch time, unique users and sessions, plus a viewership chart, top titles, upload problems, recent notifications and quick actions.
Does the dashboard compare numbers with the previous period?
Yes. The Engagement tiles show views, watch time, unique users and sessions for the last 7, 30 or 90 days, and each tile states the percentage change against the previous period of the same length. New users and revenue cover the last seven days.
Can I change what the admin dashboard shows?
Yes. Press Customize to reorder, resize, remove and add widgets and to switch between layouts. A layout can be set as the default for everyone, so new team members start with the same view.
Does the Vodlix admin panel have a dark mode?
Yes. Choose Dark Mode in the account menu at the top right of the admin to switch the panel to dark, and switch back from the same menu.
Can I try my streaming platform with demo content first?
Yes. The setup wizard can load one of twelve demo catalogues with categories, content lists, videos, series and live channels. It is tagged as sample data, and Settings, Demo / sample data, clears all of it in one action when you are ready to launch.
What do I do if a change does not show on my site?
Open the Cache menu in the bottom bar of the admin and refresh the site, or use the Cache Manager to refresh only the area that changed, such as videos, lists or settings. With auto-publish on, most edits go live without this step.
