Faster Search for Viewers With Typesense or Elastic Search
Viewers find titles faster when search runs on a dedicated search engine. On your storefront, results appear as the viewer types, so a few letters are enough to find a film or series. Vodlix has built-in search that suits most catalogues. When yours grows, a search integration such as Typesense, Elastic Search or Algolia takes over, which adds speed and tolerance for typos.
Let Viewers Sign In With an SMS Code
With an SMS integration, viewers can sign in with a code sent to their phone instead of a password. They enter their mobile number, receive a short code by text message and type it in to sign in. Twilio or SMS4Free sends the code. If you have no SMS integration set up, the same codes can go out by email instead, so code sign-in still works.

How to Turn On and Set Up an Integration
To add an integration, switch it on and then enter its details. It only starts working once it shows Connected, which means its account details are saved and accepted. Until then the card reads "needs setup". Some integrations connect with one click to approve access; others need an API key pasted in. Switching an integration off stops it but keeps its settings, so it picks up where it left off when you switch it back on. Every change is logged as an admin notification, so you can see who changed what.
How to Connect a Tool That Vodlix Does Not List
You can connect any other tool through the Vodlix REST API, or ask us to build it for you as a custom plugin. Which integrations you can switch on depends on your platform: some come with certain plans, and a few are turned on by Vodlix on request. The Integrations screen in your admin shows what is available to you. Movie data and payments have pages of their own: TMDB integration and payment gateway integrations.
