Seamless Profile Switching

Vodlix profile selection gives everyone on a shared account their own space. After signing in, viewers land on a Who's watching? screen and pick their profile, and Switch Profile in the account menu moves them to another without logging out. Each profile keeps its own watch history, Continue Watching row and My List. For OTT operators, profiles let one subscription serve a whole household properly, which raises engagement and reduces the pressure to share passwords.

Watch History and My List per Profile

Every Vodlix profile keeps its own watch history, Continue Watching row and My List, so each person picks up exactly where they stopped and finds the titles they saved, not the rest of the household's. A parent's late-night thriller never turns up in a child's Continue Watching. Deleting a profile removes its history and list with it. Keeping viewing separate per person is what makes a shared account feel personal.

Manage Profile Settings and Preferences

Viewers manage their profiles themselves: add one, name it, pick a picture from the platform's avatar set or upload one, set its maturity level, and lock it with a 4-digit PIN from Account Settings. A forgotten PIN can be reset by email, and the account owner can remove a lock outright. In the admin panel, the subscriber's record lists every profile on the account with its picture, name and maturity level, which helps when a viewer asks for support.

Maturity Levels per Profile

Each Vodlix profile has a maturity level and sees only titles rated within it. The ratings come from the Maturity Level you set on each title in the admin, on the scale All, 7+, 13+, 16+ and 18+, so a Kids profile shows only content rated for its age. That makes a shared account safe for younger viewers without a separate subscription. The restriction applies to titles that carry a maturity level, so rate your catalogue. Per profile parental controls are what make family friendly streaming practical.
