Secure by Default
Vodlix registration is fast and still secure by default. Viewers create an account with an email address and a password, and you set the rules behind it: a minimum password length, reserved usernames, a captcha on signup, and optional email verification that keeps a new account inactive until the viewer confirms their address. Repeated failed sign-ins lock the account for a period you choose, so password guessing goes nowhere. A quick signup never has to cost account safety.

One Set of Credentials for Every Device
One Vodlix account works on your website and in your Android, iOS and smart TV apps, so viewers sign up once and sign in wherever they watch. On a TV they do not have to type a password with the remote: they sign in with a code entered on the website, or by scanning a QR code on Android TV. My List, profiles and viewing progress belong to the account, so they follow the viewer from screen to screen. Session Manager shows every sign-in by app, so you can see where each viewer actually watches.
Self Service Password Recovery
A viewer who forgets their password fixes it without contacting support. They choose Forgot Password, enter their email address and receive a link; the link confirms the request and opens a form where they set a new password, then they sign straight back in. The reset follows the same three steps every time, Request reset, Verification and Reset password, which takes one of the most common support tickets off your queue. If you manage accounts another way, you can hide the Forgot Password link.
Collect the Signup Data Your Business Needs
The signup form asks for as much or as little as you want. Email and password are always there; switch on a username, first and last name, phone number, date of birth, gender, zip code, country or language when your business needs them, and leave the rest off to keep signup short. Add a terms checkbox with links to your own terms and privacy policy, and a marketing opt-in with the default you choose. You can also set a minimum age for registration, and viewers who opt in to marketing appear in Email Subscribers.
Password, One-Time Code or Social Sign In
Viewers can sign in the way that suits them. Alongside an email or username and a password, you can turn on one-time code sign-in: the viewer enters a mobile number or email address and receives a code by text message or email instead of typing a password, and you can make it the only way in if you prefer. Facebook and Google sign-in appear as buttons once you add each provider's app credentials, and Sign in with Apple is available once your iOS app is configured. Viewers can see and disconnect linked social accounts from their account settings. How quick is signing up on a Vodlix platform?
Signing up takes a few clicks: the viewer enters an email address and a password, plus any extra fields you switch on, such as a name, date of birth or country, and accepts your terms. If you enable them, viewers can also sign in with a one-time code or a Facebook or Google account.
Does one Vodlix account work on every device?
Yes. A single Vodlix account covers the website and the Android, iOS and smart TV apps, and on a TV the viewer can sign in with a code instead of typing a password. My List, profiles and viewing progress follow the account wherever the viewer signs in.
Can viewers reset their own passwords on Vodlix?
